ST. GEORGE — The Pine View High School girls golf team continued its season-long winning streak with a Week 6 victory at Sunbrook Golf Club.

Playing on the same course that is scheduled to host the 4A state tournament next month, all seven Region 10 schools saw higher-than-average team scores across the board.

Still, Pine View’s top four golfers scored a collective 356, which was 22 strokes ahead of runner-up Desert Hills’s team score of 378.

The Panthers were led by Alyssa Butterfus’ score of 82, while teammates Kenzi Owen and Hallie Wieland each contributed a 90.

The top overall score of the day once again belonged to Dixie senior Annabelle Millard, who shot a 77. Iris Pead added an 88 for the Flyers.

Next week’s Region 10 match is scheduled for Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Green Spring Golf Course in Washington City. That will be followed by the final match of the regular season the following week on April 27 at Cedar Ridge Golf Course in Cedar City.
