Tickets now on sale for 99.9 KONY Country’s 4th of July event with Ashley McBryde, Craig Morgan and more

ST. GEORGE — Tickets are now on sale for the biggest summer bash in Southern Utah. The 99.9 KONY Country 4th of July Celebration returns as thousands of people will gather at Greater Zion Stadium to celebrate America’s independence with a night of thrilling live entertainment.

This year’s concert lineup features not one, not two, but three artists for the first time ever. Need another reason to get excited? Tickets are starting at just $25.

“I think we’ve really nailed it this year with something for everybody,” Canyon Media general manager Ben Lindquist said. “It’s one thing to lower the ticket prices, but it’s another thing entirely to also elevate the level of entertainment.”

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. as DJ Eric Rhodes takes the stage to spin an energetic blend of hits past and present. With 1.4 million followers on TikTok and nearly 1 million on Instagram, Rhodes is a bona fide social media sensation. His skillful fusion of diverse music genres is sure to captivate the crowd, solidifying his status as one of the hottest DJs in the industry.

The live music starts with Grammy, CMA and ACM award winner Ashley McBryde. A member of the Grand Ole Opry, McBryde grew up in rural Arkansas and cut her teeth as a country singer-songwriter performing in biker bars before making her major label debut with Warner Music Nashville in 2017.

McBryde has earned platinum certification with the hit “One Night Standards,” and her collaboration with Carly Pearce, “Never Wanted to Be That Girl,” went to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay. She’s currently performing across North America and Europe on her headlining The Devil I Know Tour.

Next is Craig Morgan, the Tennessee-born country star who shot to No. 1 in 2005 with “That’s What I Love About Sunday.” Mixing old-school grit with a modern pulse, Morgan has notched 17 entries on Billboard’s country charts, including seven top 10 singles.

However, the hitmaker behind “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester” and “Little Bit of Life” is more than a singer and songwriter. Morgan is also a faithful Christian, a devoted family man and a distinguished veteran who re-enlisted in the Army Reserve while on stage at the Grand Ole Opry last year.

Audiences will also be treated to a patriotic program from United We Pledge that features the unfolding of one of the world’s largest American flags, plus many other surprises sure to make the night unforgettable.

“I’m really proud of what our committee has put together this year,” event director Colleen Rue said. “I think it’s going to give people chills.”

After darkness falls, the stadium will come alight with Southern Utah’s largest fireworks display, presented by the city of St. George. The fireworks will be launched at 10 p.m. from the Utah Tech Encampment Mall just behind the stadium, where the public is welcome to watch for free. The display will also be visible from almost anywhere in the downtown area, and the accompanying program of music and narration will be broadcast live on 99.9 KONY Country.

Tickets cost $25 for general admission, which grants ticketholders access to the field and seating on the east side of Greater Zion Stadium. Reserved seating on the west side costs $38, or $40 for a seatback, offering additional comfort. All ticket prices include taxes and fees.

“We’ve really gone to great lengths to keep it affordable,” Lindquist said. “I don’t think you can go see any concert with this kind of amazing entertainment for these prices anywhere in America right now, and it wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors.”

The 99.9 KONY Country 4th of July Celebration is presented by the city of St. George, Utah Tech University, Intermountain Health, United We Pledge, Cache Valley Bank, Litehouse Inc., Ken Garff St. George Ford, the Lifetime Store, SkyWest Airlines, RAM Aviation, Space & Defense, Black Desert Resort, Big O Tires, D.R. Horton and Stout Roofing, Inc.

Before the concert and fireworks show, the city of St. George will host a full day of activities including the Independence Carnival, the 4th of July Parade and the Uncle Sam 4K. Bring the whole family to Town Square Park, located in the heart of historic downtown St. George at 50 S. Main Street. From live music and food booths to slip-n-slides and a talent show, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

“The entire purpose of this event is to unite our community and inspire them to think about America,” Lindquist said, “to feel that gratitude and pride in their hearts for living in what I believe is the greatest country on Earth.”
