CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — The “Internet People” at InfoWest are committed to providing the ultimate connectivity experience one customer at a time. As Southern Utah’s hometown internet provider, they’re big enough to get you the speed you need yet small enough to care about their neighbors in Southern Utah.

InfoWest currently employs over 100 Utahns. The company manages offices in St. George, Cedar City, Richfield and Overton, Nevada, with friendly, local support technicians available by phone 24/7.

“We know Southern Utah better than anybody else,” customer service manager Manny Renteria said. “We’re local, we brought the internet to Southern Utah 29 years ago, and our customers understand that we’re here for them.”

InfoWest is truly local

There’s no substitute for the connection you get from a homegrown company, and InfoWest sets a lofty standard for customer service in Southern Utah. Effective customer support is two-fold, Renteria said. First, InfoWest provides reliable internet connectivity; if something does go wrong, you can call your local customer support team to get reconnected quickly.

“We even have people smiling when they come in to pay their internet bills,” he added. “They could pay online, but they enjoy the friendly staff at InfoWest.”

Decades of dedicated service

Technology has evolved by leaps and bounds since InfoWest brought the internet to Southern Utah nearly 30 years ago, but the company’s leadership team still believes in the golden rule of customer service. They believe that doing the right thing matters, and they care because they’re your neighbors.

InfoWest recently took home a handful of elite honors in the 2023 Best of Southern Utah contest, including the gold medal for customer service. Josh Kaneversky, the company’s marketing director, said everyone at InfoWest is especially proud of the customer service win because it represents a true team effort and is determined by popular vote.

“It’s not an award you can win based on one good day of customer service,” he added. “You have to do it day in and day out.”

InfoWest loves giving back

There’s so much more to customer service than answering phone calls and fixing tech issues. Although the work of InfoWest team members is vital to keeping Southern Utahns connected, they also get involved in their local communities in a variety of ways.

InfoWest proudly funds scholarships, sponsors local events and donates backpacks to students in need. Their team members also volunteer for worthy causes throughout Southern Utah.

“Giving back is an extension of great customer service,” Renteria said. “We do a lot in all the areas we serve, and we love to help our local community.”

Internet options for every need

InfoWest helps customers stay on the cutting edge with residential and business internet plans offering speeds up to 2 gigabits per second. In addition to VoIP internet-based phone services as well as home and business alarm systems, the company is constantly expanding its fiber footprint throughout the St. George and Cedar City areas.

As more people work, learn and communicate online than ever before, fiber is the future and the gold standard of internet connectivity. It provides unparalleled stability as well as blazing speed. And with no data caps or bandwidth metering, InfoWest customers get exactly what they pay for.
