Wouldn’t you love to have your own chef cook just for you, your family and friends?

ST. GEORGE — Wouldn’t you love to have your own chef cook just for you, your family and friends? Now that fanciful dream can come true. Sit back, relax and enjoy as Chef Joe Franchi and his ProChef4U staff make that dream a reality.

After working for a high-profile couple throughout the southwest United States, Florida and Pennsylvania, Franchi realized this was an experience he wanted to bring to Southern Utah and Nevada.

“I knew everyone loved the idea but a full time private chef isn’t practical for most people and it made me start thinking … What if I could offer this service only for the specific time that clients needed me? It might be just for a night – to turn a special occasion into an extraordinary event, I could go to their home and prepare a culinary feast of a lifetime. Or maybe the entire extended family was arriving, hopeful for a joyous time, and I am needed to prepare the daily meals for several days.”

Now, Franchi can provide this service wherever and whenever you need him and his staff. ProCh4efU is a complete service dedicated to making your event worry and stress free. Guaranteed to be more than just a meal, it will be an everlasting conversation of pleasant and aromatic memories.

This experience is different than the caterers you may have used in the past. Chef Joe said:

It’s true, we both prepare and serve food. But, my staff and I provide an experience that is designed with just you and your family and guests in mind. We don’t have a preset selection of menu items, a predefined service pattern; everything we do is styled and designed with your tastes in mind. We will make suggestions and show you ideas to begin our joint planning but every step will be tailored to your needs, your style, your taste buds and that memorable event. Because, I believe … food is personal.

And he has the hospitality and culinary skills to support those goals. Franchi began his professional career in a local New York area country club and gradually expanded into an off-premise catering business. He worked as a recipe development cook for an international magazine while attending Pratt Institute where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Management. He continued his entrepreneurial pursuits by opening a range of restaurants and nightclubs in the following years in New York, San Francisco and Florida.

From 2006 to 2016, Franchi was a private chef in residence for a high-profile couple. During this residency he coordinated, prepared and served multiple fashionable parties for charity functions and board related dinners. Those experiences, as well as continued professional studies he pursued in various courses through the Culinary Institute of America, Texas A&M, Court of Master Sommeliers, and others, have made Franchi uniquely qualified, confident and poised.

Franchi’s culinary skills range the entire international spectrum of foods and preparation styles including Modern French, Mediterranean, Asian, Korean, Hispanic, Mexican, Thai, Vegetarian and Molecular Gastronomy. He has learned to combine and blend locally-sourced ingredients, traditional styles and techniques with the contemporary, resulting in the finest healthiest cuisine and creations possible. His experience preparing foods based on the current dietary trends and his diploma in Human Nutrition and Personal Fitness Chef certification enable him to address any health or dietary concerns. In addition to his other culinary knowledge, Franchi is also a certified associate Wine Steward.

Franchi believes strongly in the importance of visual presentation and he prides himself on his beautiful edible art creations and elegant plating’s.

“Watching fabulous Northern Italian food being created in my childhood home kitchen and attempting to help was part of an impressionable youth that led to the love and respect for food that I have carried throughout my life. It taught me food is indeed personal. My wife and her Korean heritage brought even more appreciation of food; it’s health benefits, social interaction and new range of tastes into my repertoire. She taught me a different style of service and reinforced the celebration of food as a personal creation that should be shared,” Franchi said.

He, his wife and ProChef4U staff look forward to using their hospitality and culinary skills to fulfill your vision for your next event or celebration wherever you choose.

“Costs are similar to what you would encounter if you were dining at a fine New York restaurant. You can be confident ProChef4U’s professional staff and services will exceed the demands of the occasions and help create the memories of a lifetime,” Franchi said.

“I have been blessed to have a life enriched with a loving family encompassing two diverse cultures – Italian and Korean. Both cultures celebrate foods and dining in different ways but with the same philosophy – ‘Food is essential but it is meant to be enjoyed and shared with friends and family,’” he said.

Chef Joe and ProChef4U looks forward to providing the professional expertise and commitment you deserve for your next fine dining occasion.
