TDS introduces live, streaming TV product in southern Utah, Nevada

MADISON, Wis. — TDS Telecom (TDS®) is bringing a new, state-of-the-art TV service that includes live, recorded and streaming services like Netflix (requires streaming membership) and On Demand all in one location.

Called TDS TV+, this new product allows customers to easily view local channels, regional sports, national cable channels and streaming service at home or on any compatible device, or on-the-go with TV Everywhere. TDS TV+ is now offered in St. George, Cedar City and Mesquite, Nev. and includes On Demand entertainment where customers can check out TDS’ library of hit shows and movies, from new releases to classics.

“TDS TV+ makes navigating the different TV services much easier,” said Shane West, senior vice president of marketing, sales and customer operations for TDS. “The straightforward interface is simple to use. We’re thrilled to begin offering this groundbreaking product and On Demand services in southern Utah and Nevada.”

TDS TV+ uses smart technology to be in tune with each customer’s viewing habits and even provides program recommendations for customers. The voice remote allows customers to have simple and quick access to this new TV experience.

“TDS TV+ allows customers to search, schedule, record and watch their favorite programs in one place,” West said. “The service is an integrated and intelligent entertainment experience.”

Customers can simultaneously record up to 10 shows and store up to 300 hours of programming by choosing the cloud-based storage tier that fits their needs. TDS TV+ uses a compact, wireless set-top box called the TDS TV+ Receiver that provides a more reliable, higher-quality viewing experience, because it’s maintained and secured by TDS.
