You are invited to the free art demonstration by local artist Margaret Abramshe.
Southern Utah Art Guild Presents: “Narrative Textile Art Painting and Stitching” Event is held on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 1-2:30 p.m. at Red Cliff Gallery, 220 N. 200 E., St. George, Utah. Public welcome, registration not required but seating is limited.
The class will include a demonstration of painting on fabric using narrative themes and the process of stitching for quilts.
Margaret Abramshe is a textile artist, well known to the St. George area. Margaret is a full-time artist and former art educator with the Jefferson County, Colorado Public Schools. She has a B.F.A. from the University of Colorado, a B.A. in Education from Florida International University and an M.F.A. in Visual Arts from Northern Colorado University. She has won numerous quilting and fabric art awards and exhibits and show her work locally at Arrowhead and Red Cliff Galleries. Her website is Abramshe Arts www.margaretabramshe.com
