Learn about the medicinal uses of herbs and Native American plants at meeting of the Dixie Garden Club

ST. GEORGE — The monthly meeting of the Dixie Garden Club will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m. at the Washington County Library’s St. George branch.

The meeting will be held downstairs in Community Room A.

This month’s program on “Medicinal Uses of Herbs and Native American Medicinal Plant Uses,”will feature speakers Ali Reynolds, owner of Ali’s Organics in La Verkin and Kaye “Whitefeather” Robinson, Native American Archaeologist.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

The Dixie Garden Club meets on the third Wednesday at 1 p.m. of each month from September through May.

The Dixie Garden Club raises funds to annually award scholarships for Dixie State University students.
