BEAVER — Experience pioneer life as it was back in 1867 at the 2019 Cove Fort Days.
This year’s activities will take place on Friday, August 2nd from 1-8 p.m., and Saturday, August 3rd from 9 a.m to 6 p.m.
Visit the pioneer village with pioneer arts and crafts, including cooking, weaving, spinning, wood carving, quilting, hair weaving, blacksmithing, soap making and more. Old time storytelling will take place all day, including famed story teller and singer of Utah history, Clive Romney.
Free covered wagon and stagecoach rides will be available for your family to enjoy, as well as pioneer games and activities for the kids. Families are welcome to bring their own picnic lunch, or to purchase food from any of several food vendors that will be available.
And, of course, we always encourage you to spend time at the fort, where you will find expert tour guides at each room, sharing the history of what it was like when the Hinckley family lived here 152 years ago!
Cove Fort is located near the intersection of I-70 and I-15. Take Exit 1 from I-70, or Exit 135 from I-15.
