‘Building a successful career in science: Do or do not. There is no try’; presentation to be held at Dixie State

ST. GEORGE — Everyone is invited to attend the Women’s Resource Center and Mathematical Association of America’s “Building a Successful Career in Science: Do or Do Not. There is No Try” presentation by Dr. Sharanya Raghunath, Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Intermountain Healthcare.

At this event, participants can learn about how to best navigate the science career field and how to succeed.

The Mathematical Association of America is the world’s largest community of mathematicians, students, and enthusiasts. They further the understanding of our world through mathematics because mathematics drives society and shapes our lives.

The mission of the organization is to advance the understanding of mathematics and its impact on our world.

The presentation will be held Monday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m to noon in the Snow Building, Room 125.

Don’t miss out on this great presentation, especially if you are a STEM major. Free refreshments will be provided.
