How do our Candidates support equity for women and girls of
Utah?
One of AAUW’s core missions is to promote equity for women and
girls through advocacy. AAUW members are concerned with
the federal, state and local policies that affect girls, women
and families.
AAUW St. George Branch October luncheon program will be a Candidates’ Forum to help us understand our potential representatives positions on issues relevant to girls and women.
Candidates for four key local positions have been invited to
take part in a question and answer program moderated by
Jeannette Johnson, PhD., Legislative, Policy and Advocacy Chair
for the Branch.
While AAUW does not endorse candidates we are keenly interested in supporting legislation and policy that advances our mission.
AAUW St. George Branch is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization.
