FEATURE — It’s a magical sky this week that culminates Thursday, June 1, when Jupiter, the planet of luck and optimism, conjuncts the True North Node of the moon at 3 degrees in Taurus — a grand meeting that hasn’t happened in almost 100 years.

The North Node represents a karmic mathematical point. Every person has their own North Node placement in their natal chart, which indicates their soul purpose and life destiny.

The North Node stands opposite the South Node, which represents a past life or early childhood and represents our comfort zone that may be used as a crutch. This axis is known as the “nodes of fate,” and the North Node is meant to direct our soul’s evolution.

As a current, energetic influence, the North Node meeting Jupiter in the sky on Thursday increases our desire to connect with people who inspire positive growth. Due to the North Node’s karmic nature, chance meetings are likely under a sky like this. The last time Jupiter and the North Node connected in Taurus was in 1929!

In Taurus, this conjunction heightens the sensory experiences of life and offers blessings on the material plane, as well as inspiring new creative ideas and romance. Support is offered to help align us with our soul purpose.

At 9:42 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, just two days after this conjunction perfects, a full moon in Sagittarius at 13 degrees will illuminate the night sky.

The energy of a full moon can be felt up to three days before and three days after it peak fullness, bringing with it an amplification of emotions, especially around any pending matter in need of change. While the sudden outward expression may feel new, it’s not and rather reveals something that has been simmering below the surface for some time.

In the sign of Sagittarius, this abrupt energetic release can feel even more passionate and spontaneous. Our sense of adventure is ignited under this sky, and we are desiring to explore new territory of both our thoughts and perceptions and the world at large.

During a full moon, the moon is in opposition to the sun, representing a duality and a need to strike a balance between the two. In this case, the sun is in Gemini opposite the moon in Sagittarius.

The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity is known as the mental axis. Gemini represents the logical mind that collects data in the immediate environment or neighborhood. While Sagittarius represents the higher mind that reaches for depth of meaning far outside the here and now. Regardless of how this moon is uniquely impacting your sign, all of us are collectively being pushed to gain deeper wisdom and widen our view.

So what does this all mean for your sign? Find out below.
