Disabled man found in St. George after missing for 2 days

ST. GEORGE — A disabled man with autism was found safe Wednesday morning after he had been missing for nearly two days.

Eighteen-year-old Kevin Rugg, who police said functions at the level of an 8-year-old, was found around 9 a.m., within 3 to 4 miles of his home in the Dinosaur Crossing area of St. George, St. George Police Officer Tiffany Mitchell said.

Family and the police had been looking for Rugg since he was last seen at 1 p.m. and Monday and the public was asked to help find him.
