Police: Autistic man missing in St. George

ST. GEORGE — An autistic 18-year-old who functions at the level of an 8-year-old is missing, St. George Police officer Tiffany Mitchell told St. George News.

Kevin Rugg was last seen at 2200 East Dinosaur Crossing at 1 p.m. on Monday and was still missing as of 9:20 p.m. He is 5-foot-8 and weighs 125 lbs., and he was wearing a green baseball shirt and no shoes.

Rugg is known to frequent the bike trail by his home near Smith’s grocery store on Mall Drive. And he often heads south towards businesses near 1450 South and River Road in St. George.

The public should notify police if he is sighted by calling 435-627-4300.
