What’s on the Menu: Bistro 72 | Sponsored by CasaBlanca Resort & Casino

ST. GEORGE — There’s no shortage of great golf courses or fabulous restaurants in Southern Utah, and Bistro 72 at Coral Canyon Golf Course offers the best of both.

This week, “What’s on the Menu” host Sheldon Demke stopped by Bistro 72 with Chris Pfatenhauer, head baseball coach for the Utah Tech Trailblazers. It was their first visit, but odds are it won’t be their last.

Swing into Bistro 72 and enjoy some 19th-hole favorites with Sheldon and Chris in this week’s episode of “What’s on the Menu” in the media player above.

They started with the hearty breakfast burrito. Eggs, cheese, crispy tater tots and your choice of bacon or sausage wrapped in a warm tomato basil tortilla – what better way to start your day?

Next was the barbeque chicken grilled cheese sandwich, a delicious blend of caramelized onions, pineapple, bacon, pickled hot peppers and plenty of melted cheese.

Demke and Pfatenhauer also dug into the Tipsy Coral Burger, which features a fresh beef patty and bacon slathered in a generous helping of beer cheese. It doesn’t get messier than this monster, so don’t wear your favorite golf shirt if you want to take it on.

“The Tipsy Coral Burger may be the messiest thing I’ve ever eaten,” Pfatenhauer said.

“You couldn’t help but get it all over your fingers,” Demke added. “Wild, amazing, delicious!”

Bistro 72 serves breakfast and lunch entrées seven days a week. Enjoy stunning views of Coral Canyon Golf Course, which offers 18 holes of championship golf set against the backdrop of the Pine Valley Mountains and Zion National Park, in a relaxed atmosphere.

The restaurant is open to the public and has beer on tap, including local brews. Even if you’re not playing a round, come out and enjoy a great time with family and friends.
