Owner Todd Vowell said the event is a way for Modern Warriors to thank the people of St. George for their continued support and celebrate a successful first year at their new location.

Along with Stag Arms, HUXWRX Suppressors (formerly OSS Suppressors), Vortex Optics, Magpul and Mantis Shooting Systems will have products on display. There will be dozens of giveaways from these vendors, as well as a drawing to win a new Stag Arms rifle worth $2,200 and plenty of swag. Customers can save 25% on purchases of all Stag Arms firearms during the event.

Stag Arms specializes in the advancement of the modern sporting rifle and pioneered the first left-handed AR. For over 15 years, the company has continued to develop and improve upon the AR platform and all of its components. Rifles are 100% American-made, including every part assembled. Visit StagArms.com to see their new tactical 3-Gun line and other offerings.

Anyone who spends $20 or more at Modern Warriors during the event receives free food from one of St. George’s finest food trucks serving corn dogs, bowls or snow cones. Additionally, Germaine Marine will be on location with a drawing to win a wakesurfing board and accessories valued at $1,500. Local radio stations 99.9 KONY Country and 95.9 The Hawk will be broadcasting live.

The event also features an appearance from heavy metal musician Chris Kael. Best known as the bassist of Five Finger Death Punch, Kael joined the band in 2011 and became a Modern Warriors brand ambassador earlier this year. He will be on-hand for photos and autographs between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

“Modern Warriors feels Chris is a perfect fit to represent our brand since we share the same appreciation and respect towards military, law enforcement, first responders and especially our veterans,” Vowell said.

Kael also joined Modern Warriors in May for the company’s spring customer appreciation event and charity raffle benefiting the Southern Utah chapter of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. The event raised $15,000.

Modern Warriors specializes in tactical weapons and accessories, including a selection of more than 4,000 firearms. Since 2014, the store has grown into the region’s premier tactical sporting goods dealer. Customers drive from as far away as Salt Lake City and Las Vegas to browse their showroom, and they also ship firearms and accessories nationwide through their online store.

Last year, the company expanded operations by moving to an 8,000-square-foot facility just east of Interstate 15 in Bloomington Hills. The building includes a state-of-the-art showroom, a customization and repair shop and a shipping and receiving warehouse to facilitate online orders. The facility also features a classroom offering training courses such as concealed carry, gun awareness and emergency preparedness.

As a specialty retailer, Modern Warriors carries many firearms that are difficult to find, along with an ample supply of ammunition. The store caters to enthusiasts looking for the latest and greatest in tactical weaponry as well as people who are just starting to explore gun ownership. Whether customers are looking for a firearm for home defense or sport shooting, they’ll find everything they need with the help of the expert team at Modern Warriors.
