Santana covered the course in 2 hours, 15 minutes, 47, seconds to win the 26.2-mile trek, which starts in Central, goes south on state Route 18 through Veyo, Dammeron Valley and Diamond Valley and finishes in downtown St. George at Vernon Worthen Park.
Bedford was the top woman, placing 29th overall and running the course in 2 hours, 36 minutes.
St. George resident Aaron Metler, the defending champion, placed fourth in 2:23.01. He came in behind runner-up Jonathan Kotter (2:18.59) and Michael Otteson (2:22.56).
