The Southern Utah Senior Foundation, in conjunction with 9 Wine & Dine, is hosting a charity golf tournament at Southgate Golf Course on Oct. 17 to benefit the non-profit Memory Matters Utah, which provides free support, education and caregiving for those suffering with memory loss disease and their families.

Along with play in the 9 a.m. tournament, the $100 registration fee will include breakfast for before the course is conquered, and lunch afterward.

All proceeds will benefit Memory Matters’ programs in Southern Utah, including weekly support groups, telephone reassurance, private care consultations, early-stage memory loss intervention and dementia activity groups.

Spots are limited and registration, at www.suseniors.org/golf/, ends by Oct. 1, or when all player slots are filled.
