Precision Implant & Oral Surgery was founded by Dr. Scott Bulloch 28 years ago, in 1994. After dental school, Bulloch completed a hospital residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as in general anesthesia. He holds several patents and has developed various techniques to improve the safety, reliability and precise placement of dental implants, as well as providing better treatment options for difficult cases.

Along with being an expert in maneuvering complicated tooth extractions, Bulloch uses advanced techniques to fill the space left behind with dental implants on the same day as the tooth is extracted. He has placed thousands of implants throughout his career.

“Throughout the history of this practice, we have focused on quality and innovation,” he said. “Every treatment plan is individualized to that specific patient’s anatomy and their specific needs.”

Bringing in a fresh perspective as well as new abilities and expertise, his son, prosthodontics specialist Dr. Brandon Bulloch, recently joined the practice. This partnership blends decades of oral surgery experience with training in the latest materials and techniques in restorative dentistry to benefit Southern Utah patients. With the addition of Dr. Brandon Bulloch, the practice has changed its name to Precision Dental Specialties.

Dr. Brandon Bulloch completed his three-year surgical prosthodontics residency at and graduated with awards and honors from the University of Maryland, a highly respected institution recognized as the oldest dental school in the world. His specialty is in the restorative side of dentistry, including full mouth rehabilitation.

Father and son have now joined forces to expand the practice and offer patients more comprehensive care in both surgery and prosthetics.

“My goal is to have patients leave with aesthetic and functional teeth,” Dr. Brandon Bulloch said.

Precision Dental Specialties offers personalized and comfortable dental care in a state-of-the-art, technologically advanced dental specialty center that includes a board-certified nurse anesthetist.

When Dr. Brandon Bulloch was asked what sets them apart from other offices in the area, his answer was simple:

“It’s more than just what we do, it’s how we do it. It’s the training behind our work. It’s the tools we use and don’t use. It’s the care we take as two different specialties working together to provide the best possible patient outcomes. We work closely with their general dentist and provide recommendations to maximize the success and longevity of the treatment.”

“The immediate change patients experience after surgery is often life-changing,” said Dr. Scott Bulloch, when reflecting on why he went into this line of work.
