Mesquite’s newest boutique, Juniper Outpost, continues to impress

CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Located in the heart of Mesquite, Nevada, Juniper Outpost has been up and running for the past few months. In this short time, theyve already become a local favorite and popular tourist destination online. Why? Because when it comes to being a boutique, theyve nailed it.

From their gourmet coffee, artisan chocolates and fine jams to their clothing, home décor and more, the owners of Juniper Outpost have clearly gotten a pulse on the heartbeat of Mesquite and what the community desires.

There isn’t anywhere else remotely close that encompasses this same vibe, uniqueness in inventory or beauty of art. In truth, the store itself is a work of art, and it’s obvious that both love and passion were put into the renovation of the space for this purpose.

What started out as an idea between friends has transformed into a larger family operation. Owner Charlotte Sirianni and her husband, David, are now running the store.

During opening hours, you can find one or the other with their friendly and welcoming faces, ready to chat, answer questions and help point out just the right item for you or as a gift. Sirianni’s mother, Rhonda, is also involved with the business, primarily working behind the scenes.

Speaking of Mesquite, Juniper Outpost is proud to support more than 30 artists and makers, many of whom are from the tri-state area, including Mesquite, Moapa and St. George. They’re also thrilled to announce the opening of the “Made in Mesquite” section at Juniper Outpost, to feature the talented artistry and many great handmade items of all sizes and shapes, locally crafted in the Virgin Valley.

Due to the handcrafted nature of many of their items, what you see in the store today may not be what you see in the store tomorrow. The quality and artistry are just not something you’re going to easily find at a big-box retailer, so their items are in high demand. When I see something I like, I buy it, and I recommend that you check back often to see whats new.

As fall approaches, Juniper Outpost will continue to update its inventory for the changing season with new products and new arrangements. This little boutique amazes with the variety of items they have in store, so take your time and enjoy the experience.

Stop by for yourself and help support this delightful small local business, and while you’re at it, bring a few friends. Juniper Outpost is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday.
