Carolyn Remington, age 67, died peacefully on Aug. 5, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends in her home in Santa Clara, Utah.

She was born in Delta, Utah, to Fred and Florence Theobald Turner. She was preceded in death by her late husband Terry Zach. She is survived by Mark Remington on Santa Clara, Utah; they were married in January 2017.

Carolyn was raised in Sutherland, Utah, as a child and attended school in Delta. After graduating high school, she moved to Provo, Cedar City and St. George to attend schools. Later she moved to Henderson, Nevada, where she met and married Terry Zach. They were married for 36 years and raised 3 boys and a girl.

She was active in her church and enjoyed many callings. She enjoyed singing, gardening, home remodeling, and decorating. She was an excellent seamstress and cook. Once she set her sights on something, there was no turning back.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Mark Remington of Santa Clara, her sons Shawn and wife Terry Zach of Henderson, Nevada; Derrick Zach of San Antonio, Texas; Dustin and wife Whitney Zach of North Las Vegas; and Nicki Zach of St. George, Utah. She is also survived by eight  grandchildren, one step-daughter and one great-grandchild making its way in February 2023.  She also has five brothers and two sisters.

We would like to thank Lacy, her personal hospice nurse, fronm Dixie Home Rehab and Hospice, for her loving care of Carolyn.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug.13, at 11 a.m. at the Santa Clara 14th Ward Chapel, located at 630 Riesling Ave., Santa Clara, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30-10:45 a.m.  The funeral service will be live-streamed at the McMillan Mortuary website
