Willow Emery Murillo

Dec. 5, 2020 – July 20, 2022

Willow Emery Murillo was born to Jordyn and Jorge Murillo in St. George, Utah on Dec. 5, 2020. She was in such a hurry to be born that after a quick trip through the Chick-fil-A drive-thru, her delivery was accomplished within 45 minutes of arrival at the hospital. Incredibly alert, with a full head of dark hair and beautiful brown eyes, she quickly captured the hearts of everyone she met. Her brothers Milo and Charlie immediately fell in love with her forever.

Willow grew quickly and learned fast. She kept up with her brothers and had everyone laughing and giggling and snuggling anytime she was near. She had begun to say many words and names and was physically very strong and had the silliest, most affectionate, and magnetic personality. She loved to be with her family and spent her days making mischief with her brothers and spreading joy to all.

On July 17, 2022, Willow was in a tragic accident. She was then life-flighted to a larger hospital where she spent her last days fighting courageously on life support. After consulting with her doctors, the heart wrenching decision was made to remove her from life support to allow her to pass peacefully and surrounded by love and family. She was returned home to God on July 20, 2022, at 8:40 p.m. PDT in the arms of her devoted parents.

She is survived by her parents, Jorge Armando Murillo and Jordyn Cumi Murillo; along with her two older brothers: Nevare Milo Murillo and Charlie Jay Murillo.

Though her time on this earth was cut grievously short, we affirm that her spirit lives on in the presence of God, that she is enveloped in glory and light, and that all who loved her will have the opportunity to take her into their arms and live together again in the kingdom of our Creator.

Until we meet again, sweet baby.
