LaRue Manning Lockhart born on Aug. 8, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married her husband of almost 58 years on Nov. 3, 1960. She loved and  cared for everyone, even strangers. And in return, she was so loved by her children and grandchildren, blood related or “adopted.”

She enjoyed consuming her time with baking, crocheting, attending her church and spending time with her family. She was a true woman of love with a heart of gold. She will be missed by many.

LaRue passed away July 8, 2022, a month before her 80th birthday, surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband John, her parents and siblings and grandsons David and James Lemasters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. with a viewing prior 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Hurricane 14th Ward LDS Chapel, at 155 E. A graveside service will follow at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
