Lorraine Bernice Frankini

May 3, 1953-June 28, 2022

Lorraine Bernice Frankini, age 69, passed away on June 28, 2022. She was born on May 3, 1953, in Sacramento, California, to Carol Jean Moore and Lloyd Frankini.

She grew up on her family ranch and later moved to Idaho where she graduated from Kendrick High School with the class of 1971. She returned to California where she married her first husband and had her oldest daughter Melanie. They later divorced and she married Tommy. She and Thomas  “Tommy” Millwee were married on Nov. 11, 1978. Together they raised Tommy’s son Ryan, their daughter Meredith and son Michael.

Lorraine worked in banking for many years in Delta, Utah. She moved to Milford, Utah, and became a data technician for Smithfield Foods. In 2005, she was in a car accident that left her wheelchair-bound. She still lived on her own independently. A few years ago, she bought a new home in Hurricane, Utah, where she enjoyed the warmer winters and heat. 

Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working in her yard and sitting in the sun next to her pool. She also enjoyed spending time with her animals that she loved so much.  

She is survived by her children Melanie Fisher (Chris), Meredith Florence (Steven) and Mike Millwee (Kristy). Also surviving are her eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, six sisters and her schnauzer Teddy.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, her love Tommy, her son-in-law Todd and granddaughter Kenzi.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on July 11  in Minersville, Utah, at the Minersville LDS meetinghouse, 130 W. Main St. Interment will be at the Minersville Cemetery.
