Terri Lynn Danburg passed away from this earth to her eternal home with Jesus on July 4, 2022.
Terri was born on Sept. 21, 1953, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Gerald and Phyllis Danburg. s a young baby she was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. Although her life expectancy was not encouraging, her parents Gerald and Phyllis lovingly taught her never to give up and to enjoy life … and that she did.
Terri graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1971. She then went on to Business College followed by a 13-year career in sales. In 1987 after much prayer and guidance from the Lord, Terri went on disability. This is where her new adventure started: volunteering at nursing homes. In 1990 Terri and her parents moved to St. George, Utah. Terri was the volunteer coordinator for St. George Care Center until 2010. Terri enjoyed working with children and did so as a Sunday School teacher at the Southern Baptist Church of St. George. Many thanks to Pastor David Howell for his teachings and guidance. Terri’s current place of worship was Calvary Chapel, St. George. Terri was the head of the prayer chain ministry at Calvary Chapel. Many thanks to Pastor Rick Nerud who inspired Terri.
Terri is preceded in death by her father Gerald Danburg.
She is survived by her mother Phyllis Danburg, brother Mike (Mary) Danburg, four nieces, Janet (Korey), JoAnn (Brad), Kerry (Mike) and Terry, seven great nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and friends.
A special thank you to Applegate Home Care and Hospice, Compassionate Homecare, Caregiver and Provider Elisa Edwards-NP, Terri’s “regular gals” Moira, Kyleen, Kathy and Angela and longtime caregiver and friend Jessica Cuillard.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 11, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Tonaquint Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please give memorials to The Muscular Dystrophy Association and/or Calvary Chapel of St. George.
