CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — The weather is heating up, and that means it’s almost time for the bright red balloons and scorching deals customers have come to expect during Stephen Wade Auto Center’s summertime Red Tag Sales Event. July is the best month of the year to buy the car or truck you’ve been wanting thanks to unbeatable savings on more than 1,000 used vehicles throughout Southern Utah’s auto mall.

Now in its seventh year, the Red Tag Sales Event is just one more reason why “you’ve got it made at Stephen Wade.” All used vehicles at every Stephen Wade dealership – Mazda, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Chevrolet Cadillac, Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat, Mercedes-Benz and the Truck Center – will be marked down throughout July.

“Red Tag is our biggest event of the year, and it’s back by popular demand,” marketing director Herb Anderson said. “We’re super excited to be able to pass these savings along to our customers.”

If you’re in the market for a car, there’s no better time to buy local and save big than during the Red Tag Sales Event. Savings will vary based on the make and model, but every used vehicle at Stephen Wade Auto Center has been discounted.

Even with inflation running rampant, the general managers of all Stephen Wade dealerships are committed to offering the best prices. Anderson said there are many advantages to buying a used vehicle right now, including saving money that would quickly be lost to depreciation if you purchased a new car.

“You’ll be able to walk the lots from Mercedes down to the Truck Center and know you’re getting the absolute best price on every pre-owned vehicle we have,” he added.

Along with taking advantage of huge discounts on used cars, everyone in the community can participate in weekly giveaways for cash and prizes.

Stephen Wade Auto Center will be giving away $1,000 cash every week in July, and Southern Utahns are invited to play along even if they’re not planning on buying a car. There are three ways to enter the weekly sweepstakes, and participants can enter all three ways each week:

• Purchase a vehicle at any Stephen Wade dealership and receive 10 entries.
• Follow the clues and find the red key hidden on StephenWade.com to earn seven entries.
• Visit the auto mall or any Red Tag selfie station around town and share a photo on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #WadeRedTag for five entries.

Participants must reside in Utah, Arizona or Nevada and display valid ID to collect their winnings in person at Stephen Wade Auto Center. A map of the Red Tag selfie stations, as well as a list of the giveaway rules, can be found here.

Stephen Wade Auto Center is also partnering with Canyon Media for on-air giveaways all month long. Tune in to your favorite local radio stations, like 99.9 KONY Country, Planet 105.1 and Sunny 101.5, to learn more. Additionally, you can visit the Facebook pages of every Stephen Wade dealership to answer trivia questions for a shot at a $100 Amazon gift card.
