What’s on the Menu: Wing Nutz | Sponsored by CasaBlanca Resort & Casino

ST. GEORGE — “What’s on the Menu” host Sheldon Demke is always on a quest to find great food, and he loves introducing people to local restaurants almost as much as he enjoys sampling their eats.

In this episode, he brought his friend Sandi Catten to eat at Wing Nutz for the first time. Located in The Shoppes at Zion, Wing Nutz boasts 18 house-made sauces to choose from and the best baked wings in the business.

Dig into some delicious finger foods with Sheldon and Sandi at Wing Nutz in this week’s episode of “What’s on the Menu” in the media player above.

First, they tried the nachos. Layer upon layer of chips and cheese with a Southwestern blend of corn and beans, jalapeños and mango pomegranate chipotle chicken on top.

New on the Wing Nutz menu is delicious homestyle mac ‘n’ cheese, overflowing with gooey white cheddar and even more cheese on top. So cheesy!

“I’m a comfort food girl,” Catten said. “The macaroni and cheese – to die for! Really good.”

They also got the sampler platter, heaping with six traditional wings, six boneless wings and four hog wings (for those who prefer pork to chicken) plus a double order of buffalo chips. At Wing Nutz, you can choose your own adventure with any of their signature sauces.

Demke and Catten put the scorching buffalo sauce on their bone-in wings, a medium Southern honey barbecue on the boneless and the Carolina mustard, offering just a little bit of a kick, on their hog wings. They also split the buffalo chips between spicy and plain.

“Another successful trip at Wing Nutz,” Demke said. “If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.”

Wing Nutz uses only free-range, cage-free, hormone-free and steroid-free chicken. Orders are always baked in their state-of-the-art ovens, never fried.

Fancy a Nut Job? That’s Wing Nutz’s signature beer and the highlight of their great drink selection. And with live music and karaoke every week, it’s the perfect local watering hole.
