“One thing that we do a lot better than anyone else is motion, whether it’s reclining sectionals, reclining sofas and loveseats or just a recliner,” owner Josh Leishman said. “For the money and the value, we beat everybody else.”

Downtown Furniture also has more motion furniture options than any other store in Southern Utah, Leishman said, adding that his customers have a distinct advantage when it comes to style and color options. The showroom features an extensive selection of recliners as well as sectionals, sofas and loveseats with motion, plus sofa sleepers and adjustable bed frames.

Downtown Furniture carries American-made motion furniture from Best Home Furnishings and Comfort Industries. They also offer products from Cheers/Man Wah, the largest manufacturer of motion furniture in the world. With 23 years of experience in the furniture industry, Leishman knows what today’s customers are looking for.

With two showrooms serving customers in Washington and Iron counties, Downtown Furniture delivers locally for free and offers complimentary same-day or next-day delivery of any purchase over $500 between St. George and Cedar City. Supply chain delays continue to plague furniture stores nationwide, but Leishman said his warehouses are packed with quality products available to buyers right now.

“If a customer likes something, they can take it home that day,” he added. “We have more furniture available than anywhere else.”

Downtown Furniture manager Taylor Andelin said motion furniture provides the ultimate comfort experience, especially for customers with limited mobility, neuropathy, poor circulation, back pain and other health issues. Power recliners allow the user to set the chair back and footrest at virtually any angle they prefer and make adjustments as needed. They also save floor space by eliminating the need for an ottoman.

“Reclining gives a certain comfort that other sofas and couches can’t,” he added. “Once you’ve lived with reclining, it’s hard to ever buy anything different.”

Downtown Furniture, which Leishman calls “the biggest little furniture store in Southern Utah,” specializes in selling name-brand furniture at unbeatable prices. Between their main location in the heart of St. George and their Cedar City showroom, they offer the largest selection of furniture in the area.

Customers will find high-quality products for every room of the house, including mattresses, bedroom sets, dining sets, office furniture, kids’ furniture and accent pieces. Many products are manufactured in the United States to superior quality standards.

Leishman takes pride in being known as the place where locals shop, a reputation he has built by providing unmatched value and service.

“It definitely feels like a mom and pop store,” he said. “We’re big enough that we can have great quality and great value, yet you still feel like you’re being treated like family.”

The team at Downtown Furniture is committed to helping every customer express their own personal style and decorate their living space for the best value. Whether shoppers are looking to furnish an entire home or just add a few pieces, the store has something to suit every room, every taste and every budget.
