This year’s event features more than 300 entries, including vintage vehicles from decades past as well as newer makes and models of various types.

The popular event is the Hurricane Valley Rotary Club’s primary fundraiser each year.

“We support a lot of local charities, but this year specifically, most of the money is going toward an All Abilities Park here in Hurricane, that is planned to be out by Sand Hollow in the Dixie Springs area,” Wade Beatty of the Rotary Club told St. George News on Saturday morning as the show was just getting under way.

Beatty said the club is hoping to be able to donate at least $25,000 toward the creation of the new park.

“It’s a 100% charity event,” Beatty added. “All of the Rotarians volunteer their time, energy and effort. We’ve partnered with the city and some great sponsors.”

The show, located at the Hurricane Community Center, 100 W. 100 South, continues until 5 p.m. Saturday, with awards starting at about 4 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person, with children 6 and under admitted free.
