What’s on the Menu: Berries-n-Cream | Sponsored by CasaBlanca Resort & Casino

ST. GEORGE — “What’s on the Menu” host Sheldon Demke loves showing people new places to eat in Southern Utah, so he took Sandy DuBois with the Canyon Media team to check out Berries-n-Cream.

Located in The Shoppes in Zion, Berries-n-Cream lets customers create their own well-rounded cup of health-conscious deliciousness. Owner and creator Noel Mickelson puts her heart and soul into every dish, and it shows.

The beauty of Berries-n-Cream is the simplicity of it. Pick your berries, choose your cream, and if you want toppings, they’ve got plenty – from sprinkles and chocolate chunks to cashews and peanuts. Now, you can also add local honey to your custom dessert.

Demke opted to pour the sea salt caramel cream all over his berries.

“It’s just so sweet and it goes with the fruit so nicely,” he said.

DuBois has a dairy intolerance, so finding sweet treats isn’t always easy. Luckily, Berries-n-Cream offers a non-dairy option with organic, unsweetened coconut milk. It’s also keto-friendly.

“I’m very excited about their dairy-free options,” she said. “I had the coconut and I tried it with the monk fruit, and I also tried it with the honey sweetener. It left me wanting for more.”

Berries-n-Cream recently expanded their menu, which also includes cream sodas, with fruit water. It’s light, not too sweet and thoroughly thirst-quenching.

Mickelson runs Berries-n-Cream with the help of her daughter, Caitlyn.

“I love the business. I mean, why not be in love with something that you do?” she said. “It’s the best job in the world, to have people come in and you get to make them happy all day long.”
