What’s on the Menu: Pieology Pizzeria

ST. GEORGE — “What’s on the Menu” host Sheldon Demke loves lunchtime but hates eating alone, so he invited Monica McGlochlin from the on-air team at 99.9 KONY Country to join him for a quick bite at Pieology Pizzeria in St. George.

Choose your crust, choose your sauce and choose your toppings to create your very own perfect pizza. Demke and McGlochlin are both regulars at the pizzeria, so they knew the drill.

However, McGlochlin still managed to show the menu connoisseur something new by combining white sauce with pesto and then adding tomatoes, peppers, onions, basil, chicken and bacon.

“I love my experience here at Pieology every time I watch them make my pizza,” she said. “They have such precision and care, and they always have the best ingredients: fresh, ready to go and the things that I love.”

Some pizza lovers find the plethora of customization options overwhelming, so Pieology also offers a selection of signature pizzas.

Demke is a sucker for Pieology’s gluten-free cauliflower crust, so he ordered it with garlic sauce, red sauce and a ton of veggies. He also added spicy sausage and Canadian bacon. And of course, they couldn’t leave without digging into one of Pieology’s irresistibly gooey cinnamon churro dessert pizzas with chocolate chips on top.
