Brother’s Bistro first opened in 2016 along Central Street in Colorado City, Arizona. Owner Austin Ivory and his business partner acquired the family-friendly eatery at the beginning of this year.

“We saw a lot of potential in the community and really saw this as a way we could do something to benefit the area,” Ivory said, adding that he’s excited to welcome hungry travelers looking for a bite to eat as they head to beautiful Southern Utah and Arizona destinations.

Brother’s Bistro currently serves customers with dine-in, takeout and drive-thru options, and Ivory said patrons can expect more exciting developments at the restaurant over the course of this year. A new outdoor seating area is due to be finished later in the spring.

The Southern-inspired menu features fried chicken and potatoes, chicken sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, soft-serve ice cream and much more. The bistro also has a family-friendly menu featuring finger foods such as mac ‘n’ cheese bites, french fries and mozzarella sticks. Ivory said they’re always coming up with fun new specials.

“We feel like our menu really emphasizes the family-friendly, fun, fresh values that we have,” he added. “When a customer comes to the bistro, they can expect to be served fresh, quality food in a convenient way, every time they visit.”

Customers love Brother’s Bistro favorites like the zesty chicken bowl and the chicken potato bowl, made with all real and fresh ingredients.

Everything is 100% fresh. From chicken tenders to potato logs, Brother’s Bistro never uses frozen or powdered ingredients. All of their sauces are house-made as well.

“We rotisserie our chickens here,” Ivory said. “We get raw chicken and peel it, skin it, bread it, fry it every day.”

Just shy of an hour’s drive from St. George, Colorado City sits on the Utah-Arizona state line near the southwestern boundary of Zion National Park. The setting offers plenty of natural beauty and hidden-gem hikes.

It’s also a well-placed stopping point for tourists heading to Kanab, Lake Powell, Coral Pink Sand Dunes or the Grand Canyon. As such, Brother’s Bistro offers catering for large groups. Tour companies and caravans are welcome to call ahead and order boxed meals to go.

Brother’s Bistro is owned and operated by the team behind Icon Contracting, a general contracting company based in Colorado City. Since opening its doors in 2017, Icon Contracting has established a niche as finish carpentry experts and works with several of the area’s largest homebuilders. Ivory said the restaurant is another way they’re helping put the twin towns of Hildale and Colorado City on the map.

“Next time you’re traveling Highway 389, stop in and check it out.”
