What’s on the Menu: Jamba

ST. GEORGE — Temperatures are finally rising, and spring can’t come soon enough for “What’s on the Menu” host Sheldon Demke.

This week, Demke was joined by fellow local foodie Michele Deceuster. Deceuster covers Southern Utah food and restaurant news on her popular Instagram feed @ stg_eats, so Demke took her to a place where every item on the menu is worthy of a snapshot: Jamba’s St. George location.

Spring into seasonal flavors with local foodies Sheldon and Michele at Jamba in this week’s episode of “What’s on the Menu” in the media player above.

The duo explored a few new menu items, including Jamba’s world-famous Orange Carrot Twist.

“They quite literally juice the carrots and oranges right there in front of you,” Demke said. “It’s so fresh.”

Next, they tried the Electric Berry Lemonade, a new flavor for spring. Lemonade, a grape, pear and berry juice, raspberry sherbet, vanilla frozen yogurt, strawberries, peaches and blue spirulina for vibrant color. Incredibly refreshing! Spirulina is also a superfood packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Demke also introduced Deceuster to the wheatgrass shot. And you can’t go to Jamba without getting their signature Açaí Primo Bowl.

“I’m a big fan of – obviously – smoothies, but I also love açaí bowls,” Deceuster said. It’s a good breakfast.”

Jamba is all about refreshment combined with nourishment. It’s a great place to stop in for a quick bite or drink when you’re on the run but want to be sure you’re making healthy choices.

Whether you’re looking for a bowl, smoothie or shot, stop by Jamba in St. George and Cedar City to indulge in a taste of the tropics. Or take advantage of their convenient pickup and delivery options.
