The Utah Division of State Parks will be hosting a community cleanup event at Sand Hollow State Park on Saturday. While the event will be attended by multiple off-highway vehicle clubs, all members of the community are invited to attend.

Those attending the event are asked to meet at 9 a.m. at the OHV parking lot which accesses the nearby Sand Mountain Recreation Area from within Sand Hollow State Park. It’s a bring your own off-highway vehicle, as OHVs will not be provided. The event is expected to last all day.

Park rangers will also be placed throughout the riding area to answer any questions about safety requirements and will also be handing out whip flags to those who need them.

The Utah Division of State Parks encourages riders to wear protective equipment, including helmets, at all times. Helmets are mandatory on all public land for riders under the age of 18. A full list of Utah’s OHV laws and rules can be found online at ohv.utah.gov.
