Horseshoe Bend Overlook visitors are reminded to recreate responsibly by staying  behind the safety railings to ensure their safety at the edge of the 1,000-foot cliff. If visitors  choose to leave the viewing platform, they must remain vigilant to ensure their own safety and  maintain awareness of their proximity to the cliff edge at all times, the NPS said.
