‘We are overjoyed’: Allen family relieved after daughter found, man arrested

EPHRAIM — Madelyn Allen now faces a long road of healing after she was found Saturday, family members said Sunday. She was found Saturday night at a home in Wayne County after being reported missing on Monday, Snow College Police Chief Derek Walk said at a press conference.

18-year-old pleads guilty to charging thousands in fraudulent credit card purchases

ST. GEORGE — A man accused of purchasing several thousand dollars in merchandise using credit cards allegedly stolen from one of the off-campus dorm rooms in St. George pleaded guilty less than a week after his arrest which was the culmination of a months-long investigation.

ST. GEORGE — There is strength in numbers. That’s the philosophy behind the Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle which has pooled its money to provide more than $300,000 in assistance to non-profit organizations benefiting women and girls in Southern Utah.

ST. GEORGE — An eagle soared above the Shivwits Band of Paiute reservation on Saturday. At the same time, the Wreaths Across America ceremony was held at their cemetery. According to an attendee, it was the first time eagles have appeared this winter.
