“I’m really proud of how our boys played this season and pulled for each other as a team in an individual sport,” said Crimson Cliffs head coach Cody Felts. “They worked so hard and were committed to improving every week.”

Crimson Cliffs won every Region 10 match this season, but ultimately took second in state, as Ridgeline edged the Mustangs in a playoff hole on the second day of the tournament; the two teams had finished in a tie after 36 holes of play.

Ridgeline junior Zach Skinner was named 4A’s top individual medalist. He edged Crimson Cliffs sophomore Boston Bracken by two strokes at state, 139-141.

“To have four boys on the all-state first team is a great honor and I’m happy to see them be recognized for their dedication and hard work,” Felts added. “This has been a fun group of kids this season and we are looking forward to getting back out there and competing next year.”

The 4A all-state teams, as determined by the PGA’s Utah section, are listed below, along with the players receiving honorable mention. To see the various honorees from other classifications and from previous years, visit the PGA Utah’s website.
