4 arrested after mid-afternoon scuffle with officers in center of Red Cliffs Drive
ST. GEORGE — Four individuals were arrested following a mid-afternoon scuffle between a Las Vegas resident and a St. George Police officer Friday. According to the probable cause statement filed in support of the arrest, the incident started when St. George Police Department received reports of a retail theft out of Dick’s Sporting Goods on 15 S. River Road.

‘Here we are, resisting and persisting’; Dozens participate in 4th annual St. George Women’s March and Rally
ST. GEORGE — Dozens of Southern Utah residents, including local politicians, gathered at Vernon Worthen Park on Saturday to support the fourth annual St. George Women’s March and Rally.
Participants stepped off from the location just after noon, looping around St. George Boulevard before reconvening at the park for an “upbeat, peaceful and empowering” rally featuring speakers from across the nation.

UHP trooper nets $300K of heroin in ‘pipeline’ bust during traffic stop on I-15
ST. GEORGE — A late-night traffic stop on Interstate 15 ended up netting the Utah Highway Patrol more than 2.5 pounds of heroin found during a search of the driver’s luggage Saturday.
