The party will feature live music and dancing with Enoch Rising and karaoke with DJ Spinz. There will also be appetizers, a cash bar, a diamond dig, casino games and a silent auction as partygoers count down to a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight.

“The games include playing all your favorite Las Vegas table games right here in Southern Utah, including Black Jack, Craps, Texas Hold ‘Em and Roulette. Of course we don’t play with money, but it is still fun to win,” Lil Barron, Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Utah development director, said in a press release.

Proceeds from the party will go to support Habitat for Humanity in its mission to help people in Washington County secure a safe, affordable and stable place to live.

Guests must be 21 or older with ID. Dress is black tie to semiformal attire. Tickets may be purchased online at HabitatSWU.org or at the ReStore in St. George, 835 S. Bluff Street.

50 bucks in advance, a cash bar and semi formal, you bet
this a should be a real big hit, who in their right mind thinks
    this is gona work?

    • tcrider December 23, 2018 at 8:17 am

Maybe if 25 bucks free bar and no formal,
      Then maybe a smaller crowd.

also, get rid the pretend vegas bs,
get rid of the live band and get a
    quality sound system with larger
    variety of music.

What is it about FUNDRAISER that Southern Utah doesn’t understand? It’s about having a good time while CONTRIBUTING, not about how much you can leach out of it for yourself. I’ve seen so many charity auction items held back here because nobody will place a minimum bid that it’s ridiculous. And people think they can take a tax deduction when they pay $25 for a $250 item.

This is So. Utah. If there’s one irrefutable fact about this place, it’s this: Utahns are cheap. Especially when it comes to money.

it’s true. the only thing they aren’t cheap about is the number of wives they accumulate. I’m content with just 1. It’s actually all I can handle.

        LOL

another chance to show your hatred and bigotry eh ?

I can totally understand the purpose of the event,
its just the way they do it. Way too Pollyanna for me.

If I show up in a t-shirt and jeans are they going to decline my 100 bucks?
