ST. GEORGE — The Dixie Republican Forum is hosting a “Meet the Candidates Night” for the St. George City Council Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Washington County Commission chambers in the Washington County Administration building, 197 E. Tabernacle St., St. George.
The candidates are Greg Aldred, Joe Bowcutt, Gregg McArthur, Michele Randall, Marc Stallings and Bryan Thiriot. Both Joe Bowcutt and Michele Randall are currently serving on the City Council and are seeking re-election. The top four candidates who receive the most votes in the Aug. 15 primary will move on to the general election.
Early voting has already begun with voters in some municipalities heading to the polls and others sending in their mail-in ballots.

I voted early. Unfortunately only two candidates had Bios on the voting site. I thought it odd the others did not have Bios. Does not show well for the candidates that failed to provide a bio. They did not get my vote.
Good old boy network. At times different faces but almost always the same agenda, to serve the developers and land owners and to preserve the legacy power structure. Nothing new here. Sad!
I agree with the mans comments above, I voted early and couldn,t find anything about the candidates..muc this forum is aug 9 is shirt time to send in ballot,mthe envelope is wider than mailboxes, so I had to find a post office and I,m handicapp. After calling friends people told who not to vote for especially getting one off the council now.
