Marilyn Augusta Eggertz, 83, passed away peacefully Jan. 3, 2016, in St. George, Utah. She was born Feb. 28, 1932, to Willard and Rilla Ernstrom in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Marilyn graduated from East High School and enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, painting and the arts. She worked for many years at ZCMI in Salt Lake City. She was fun loving and had a unique sense of humor that her friends and family often enjoyed.
Marilyn has resided in St. George for over 25 years and was previously married to Raymond Eggertz.
She is survived by her sister Joyce Goodwill; two sons, Jeffery Douglas (Lora) Eggertz and Raymond Craig Eggertz; seven grandchildren, Brooke (Jonna) Droubay, Britany (Jason) MacPherson, Mitch, Nick (Kortney) Eggertz, Lauren, CJ and Ashley; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Eggertz; and her sister Betty Mackentosh.
- Graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m., at the Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S. Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
