Beth Lester Sullivan

Sullivan, Beth YJanuary 5, 1952 – December 14, 2015

Beth Lester Sullivan, 81, passed away Dec. 14, 2015. She was born in Rockville, Utah, to Nora Dalton and William Dee Lester July 11, 1934. She married Dwayne M. Sullivan, Jan. 5, 1952, in the St. George Temple for time and all eternity.

Beth grew up in Rockville. Her father died when she was about 8 years old, and that left her mother raising five girls and one boy by herself. She was actively engaged in her church, where she served in many leadership positions throughout her life. She also was a leader in the many civic organizations that she belonged to. She and Dwayne served together in the St. George Temple for many years and loved the people that they worked with and serving God.

She is survived by her children, Terry Sullivan (Claire), Jill Beardall (Dan), Beth Ann Dockstader, all of Hurricane, and Patti Nackos (Kelly) of Draper, Utah; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Flora Bardwell.

She was preceded in death by her husband; infant daughter, Paula; her parents; sisters Eleanor Cornelius, Shirley Woodbury, Anna Beatty; and brother, Gaylord Lester.
