ST. GEORGE — Everyone is invited to the 2015 Dickens’ Christmas Festival. This year’s re-enactment of 19th-century London will take place in the Dixie Center St. George.

This festival is not just another craft show but a unique and unusual entertainment and shopping experience. Olde English shops, hundreds of period costumes, fortune tellers, orphans, royalty and the “real” Father Christmas all combine to offer guests a Christmas experience like no other.

Brittany Dell, festival director, said the goal of all the costumes and actors is to take guests back in time. All vendors are dressed for the period with their booths decorated like English cottages.

Every night, there are mini productions of “Scrooge” and “Oliver!” Dell said.

This year, there are a few new things, including a new layout, new vendors and a giant treehouse. Guests will also have the opportunity to win a $1,000 cash prize by guessing the number of coins in Scrooge’s jar.

Guests will get to see “Olde London Towne” come to life. Thousands of customers will attend and experience this holiday festival, then take home treasures, memories and the spirit of Christmas.

“Just bring the family … make it a fun family tradition,” Dell said.
