BRIAN HEAD — Brian Head Resort’s snow-making team, snow groomers and Mother Nature have teamed up for the 2015-2016 opening weekend starting Friday.
The Giant Steps Express Lift (chair 2) and Blackfoot Lift (chair 3) on the Giant Steps side of the mountain will be operating with excellent early season conditions. Night skiing on chair 3 will be operating Friday and Saturday from 4-9 p.m.
The resort has received more than 2 feet of new powder from storms on the man-made base. Giant Steps Lodge will be fully operational with rental, retail, food and beverage, as well as the Last Chair Saloon.
The resort plans to have Navajo Lodge, chairs 4 and 6 and the Terrain Based Learning and kids programs in full operation starting Nov. 27.
