Long time resident of St. George, Marguerite Lowe passed this mortal existence Oct. 31, 2015, in Coquille, Oregon, at the age of 100 years. She was born the daughter of Frank Logan Bryan and Ethel McCullum on July 25, 1915, in Sudan, Kansas.
She attended school in Chanute, Kansas. On July 4, 1940, she married Kenneth A Lowe who preceded her in death Dec 10, 1980.
Marguerite was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served many years as a Relief Society President as well as many other Church Positions. She served three Member Locator Missions as well as serving many years working in the St. George Temple.
Marguerite is survived by her five children: Barbara Lowe Fletcher (Allen) of Coquille, Oregon, Bryan A Lowe (Tauna) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kenneth A Lowe Jr (Margaret) of Orlando, Florida, Dale A Lowe (Lynn) of San Bernardino, California, and Donald A Lowe (Norma) of Fullerton, California; 22 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services
- Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, 11 a.m. at the St. George 6th Ward Chapel, located at 85 South 400 East, St. George.
- Viewing will be held, Saturday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services.
- Interment will be at the St. George City Cemetery, 100 South 700 East, St. George.
