ST. GEORGE – On what was the coldest first Friday since “George, Streetfest on Main” launched in June, crowds gathered together to warm up downtown Friday night with an array of food trucks, live music, vendors and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Utah, on spotlight.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Utah is looking for new volunteers for its mentoring program that pairs “bigs” with “littles” ages 6-18 to help them realize their potential and build their futures.
Festival-goers were treated to the West Coast Jazz Players at the Jazz Garden and a variety of artists, including Raven Cain, Wirelefant and National Parks, on the main stage.
During one of Raven Cain’s performances, he invited members of the Bikers Against Child Abuse organization, or B.A.C.A. to join him as they linked arms in harmony, rocking the stage.
Kids enjoyed the rock wall set up near the Electric Theater, where local military helped out the little climbers.
