Anyone even close to Washington County won’t want to miss the local production of the Broadway show about the life of showman P.T. Barnum. Set from 1835 to 1880 in cities all across the world, the musical follows the story of Barnum’s traveling performance companies. With actors from freshmen to seniors and alumni heading up the cast, Dixie State’s production of the action-packed musical is guaranteed to be an enjoyable evening out for the entire family.

Theatre students have worked for months to learn how to safely execute aerial acrobatics, receiving training in person and via Skype from some of the nation’s top aerial experts. The relationship with professional has given new life to the DSU Theatre Program’s mission to provide the necessary tools for students to become well-rounded artists, scholars and lifelong learners.
