News short: Woman found dead in car at Dixie Regional Medical Center

ST. GEORGE — A woman was discovered dead in her car in the parking lot of Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George Wednesday afternoon.

Hospital security was alerted to a woman not responding in a car at about 4:20 p.m. and discovered that 49-year-old Donna Faulkner, of Barstow, California, had died in her vehicle, St. George Police Officer Lona Trombley said. Detectives were called, as the death was considered “unattended” and required investigation.

The woman’s body was taken into the hospital where an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death. Trombley said no further information is available at this time.
