Weekend events | Sept. 25-27

Advisory (updated 5 p.m.): Zion-Mount Carmel Highway in Zion National Park between Canyon Junction and the east entrance of the park closed Wednesday due to a major rockfall and will remain closed to through traffic through the weekend. A section of the highway between the East Entrance and the Zion Mt. Carmel Tunnel will reopen Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. but only for passenger cars as there is not sufficient turnaround space for larger vehicles. There will be no through traffic into Zion Canyon and the Springdale area. The park remains open with free entrance to visitors Saturday for National Public Lands Day, subject to road travel restrictions stated. | Read more on the rockfall, closure and alternate routes here: UPDATE: Rockfall closure on Zion-Mount Carmel Hwy. extended into weekend

As usual you failed to mention the “Red Rocks Car Show”, 26 Sep, 8:00-4:00,1444 N canyon view Dr, Santa Clara. There won’t be any story telling for the toddlers, or street mimes, but should be a good time for guy’s/gal’s who like CARS!
