ST. GEORGE — In an effort to raise funds for service organizations and Dixie State University clubs in St George, Javanna Productions M.O.V.E. is partnering with Black Bear Diner to host the first of many “Midnight Madness” events Friday.
On the last Friday of each month, members of the community are invited to visit Black Bear Diner from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for music, performances, photo booth activities, games, comfort food and fun. The event will be hosted by M.O.V.E. RADIO, an online radio program hosted by Black Bear Diner server and owner of Javanna Productions, Nicole Javanna Johnson.
M.O.V.E. RADIO is a platform for uplifting news and on-air activities that unite communities upon our common need for positivity. The online radio show premiered on Survival Radio Network in June and airs live Monday nights 5-6 p.m.
The show’s host, Nicole Javanna Johnson, is the founder of Javanna Productions M.O.V.E, a nonprofit production company that raises funds and awareness for social causes and service organizations by providing marketing and entertainment services to businesses in the community.
Johnson recently moved to St. George to further her education at Dixie State and soon after began offering marketing and entertainment services to local businesses, nonprofit organizations, students, entrepreneurs, artists and clubs.
In 2012, Johnson choreographed Tuacahn’s production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and performed in the theater’s outdoor productions of “Hairspray” and “Aladdin.” In addition to performing at Tuachan in 2012, the New York-based artist worked at Black Bear Diner as a server and truly became a part of the St George community.
Every Monday evening, Nicole broadcasts live from the back of her BMW Mini Cooper as the host of M.O.V.E. RADIO. The 1-hour radio talk show features local businesses, community efforts, kids, families and entrepreneurs of all occupations and faith backgrounds.
Black Bear Diner is excited to host Midnight Madness in partnership with M.O.V.E. Radio and is distributing a percentage of the evening’s sales to a different group of Dixie State clubs and service organizations every last Friday of the month.
