Justin Osmond’s return follows his 250-mile fundraising run from northern Utah to St. George for the benefit of 25 hearing-impaired children in the Washington County School District.

After crossing the finish line at Crosby Family Confluence Park in St. George May 9, Justin Osmond showed his emotional attachment to the kids, reflecting on that 250th mile, saying:

Someone had put pictures of all the kids along the trail, their name, their age – and that hit me, that hit me hard. So I started thinking about the kids, and of course, I had a meltdown

Precision Hearing new facility

Along with expansion of size and convenient off-street parking, a Precision Hearing’s press release said, the Precision Hearing’s new facility offers an interactive showroom unparalleled in Southern Utah.

“We are very excited about our new facility and location,” Precision Hearing owner Doug Dunker said. “We had simply outgrown our previous location, and we’re thrilled about our new location, which was designed and built with the patient experience in mind.”

Dunker knows something about finding solutions. Having hearing difficulties himself as a young boy, he has dedicated his career to staying at the forefront of his industry in areas of education, information and new technology.

Most exciting to Dunker and the Precision Hearing staff is the building’s showroom, a press release said. Not a typical waiting room experience, customers can sample assistive listening devices in a real environment, featuring the most modern technologies and products available to those with hearing difficulties, whether it’s a little help with the television, an alarm clock, telephone or anything else, there will be a solution to meet the needs of people with hearing difficulties.

We find that most people are unaware of all that is available to them at affordable prices,” Dunker said. “For every budget, there are multiple solutions to make living easier for the hard of hearing and their families.”

Dunker serves as a leader in his industry, according to the company’s press release. Elected by his peers, he has served as president of Hearing Healthcare Providers of Utah and is currently serving as northwest governor of the International Hearing Society, representing eight states.

“I know personally what it is like,” Dunker said. “There are many companies and chains that will only provide a hearing aid as a sole solution, but I want to provide multiple hearing solution options for even the most discerning individual. At Precision Hearing, we offer custom, quality-of-life enhancing solutions for every budget, the opportunity to test and try various products in our showroom and personalized care for customers and their families.”
